Can’t say I’m sad.
Published June 16th, 2008 in UncategorizedTom from Norway had an unconfirmed account on Paypal, so I asked him to confirm it before I would accept the money, so we are both protected by Paypal for the transaction. I had to send the initial payment back to him, and it has yet to hit his account. Once it hits his account, he’ll resend the $400 and then the iPhone will be shipped. I leave for a conference tomorrow, so I guess I’ll have to take the GO Phone and the box with me in case the money gets to me while I’m out of town… because I’m a good eBayer like that.
Every extra day I have with the iPhone is a bonus, especially while I am traveling!
Having done a lot of buying and selling on eBay, I figured I should at least give you a friendly warning. It’s not really the best idea to keep using an item that has already sold, whether or not you have payment, are confirmed, etc. Your iPhone technically isn’t yours anymore, and if something happened to it before you shipped it off (you dropped it and it broke, screen got scratched, etc.), you’d be in hot water with eBay.
Anytime I sell an item, I stop using it and go ahead and box it up as soon as the listing goes up.
Like I said, just some friendly advice.
Hi Brad!
Nice blog you’ve got here! Can’t wait for you to ship my iPhone!
Here in Norway, the iPhone 3G is going to be hella expensive. I don’t want to sign a contract and pay like 100$ a month in regular fees in addition to call fees and stuff! The 1. gen is absolutely perfect for me! ^^
